Govenment advice this Flu Season

This year, as well as patients aged 65 and above and patients with certain health conditions, the government has introduced flu vaccination for patients between the age of 50-64 year old age group.

This will be available during November and December providing there is sufficient vaccine, and therefore no appointments will be offered until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.

If you are 50-64 years of age and you are in one of the other groups which is elligible for the flu vaccine, for example, you have a health condition that puts you at risk from flu, you will be invited earlier.
